Are you eligible for a VA Loan?
You’ll need to obtain your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and your Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (DD214) before you can apply for a VA home loan.
You are potentially qualified if you’ve spent:
- 90 days on Active Duty
- 181 days during peacetime
- 6 years in the National Guard or Reserves
Eligibility is also available for:
- An unmarried surviving spouse
- A spouse of servicemember who is POW/MIA
